Custodial Supervisor: The custodial supervisor is a full-time position eligible for the museum’s generous leave and benefits package. As a first-line supervisor, this position provides direction to a variety of staff. This employee will work under the general supervision of the facilities director and use independent judgment to apply guidelines to specific situations. The custodial supervisor will coordinate custodial activities and staff. This position requires knowledge of the practices and materials used in the duties of the custodial staff, policies and procedures, as well as ensuring all staff members are following all safety guidelines.

Exhibit/Transport TechnicianThis full-time position eligible for the museum’s generous leave and benefits package. CDL and mechanical skills experience required. This position is a time limited grant position that may not be renewed after the ending of the grant period. This position works with the exhibits manager and partner museums to transport, install, maintain, and repair exhibits and program components of the Oklahoma Museum Network. This position is responsible for coordinating with Oklahoma Museum Network staff and museum partners on exhibit maintenance, fabrication, and logistics. Exhibits include all traveling exhibits, anchor exhibits and the Science Matters Mobile Museum.​


Guest Relations Team MemberThis is a part-time, entry-level position requiring weekday and/or weekend shifts as well as holiday availability. Guest relations team members provide superior customer service to all museum guests. This position works at the box office selling admission tickets. Preference will be given to candidates with previous customer service and cashier experience.

Program Team Member: This is a part-time, entry-level position requiring weekday, weekend and holiday availability. Program team members work directly with museum guests to operate exhibits, answer questions, and encourage scientific investigation and exploration. This position requires strong customer service skills, a sense of curiosity, good situational awareness, and an energetic personality.

Special Events Assistant: This part-time position requires a candidate over 21 available to work outside of standard business hours, (evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) with valid driver’s license. Preference may be given to candidates with experience coordinating special events. This position will assist the programs overnight specialist and the group sales coordinator in the execution of internal and external events including event setup, guest relations, and maintaining museum cleanliness.
